From Brisbane Airport - Drive north along Gateway Motorway which will continue onto the Bruce Highway. Take the Mooloolaba turn off (after the Ettamogah Pub and Aussie World attraction). Follow signs to Mooloolaba then turn left onto Sunshine Coast Motorway and travel north towards Noosa. (Approx 20 mins. You will come to a Roundabout with sign saying turn right to Coolum Beach.Continue East along that road as far as you can go until you reach Esplanade (traffic lights)...Welcome to Coolum!!! Turn left and just after McDonalds you will find ELEMENT ON COOLUM BEACH.

Element on Coolum Beach Reviews
Reasonable price. Got singles in the 2nd room not the double bed we requested. Reasonable location. Paid $3.00 each for additional towel, which was odd but the argument we got from the manager regarding why they only supply one towel person was most usual and left us with a very bad sentiment for the place. With all the competition on the coast it will be too easy to tell our friends to stay elsewhere.

Disliked: Disliked the managers attitude, this gave a mood that was far from luxury.

Not designed for young children at all - cannot exit with pram from main level, no facility for young children in pool. Very limited facilities in Coolum - not even able to get fresh milk for children in evening
